The Records Management Bureau (RMB) maintains all PRC record files and general files, in paper, microfilm and electronic formats. As part of its responsibilities, the Records Management Bureau staff scans, indexes, and stores incoming legal documentation in a manner that assures both prompt and efficient public access.
Mr. Guillen has over twenty five years of various management experiences with specifically twenty one years experience in records and information management.  He is a member in good standing of ARMA (Association of Records Managers and Administrators), Northern New Mexico Chapter and has served two terms as Chapter President.

Mr. Guillen is currently the Records Management Bureau Chief for the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission and is responsible for the Records Management and Micrographic Division. His responsibilities include the management of active and inactive records generated by the Commission.  These records, which reach in excess of one million annually, are a product of this regulatory agency.  The duties of this agency are to oversee commercial and governmental activities in the fields of insurance, transportation, tele-communications, pipeline safety, corporations, utilities and fire marshal which require accurate and reliable records.

Nick has served in Administrative Services since September 1990 where he established the Records Management Division.  He has worked closely with the New Mexico State Records Center and Archives in developing and interpreting the retention schedules for the Agency as to be in compliance with the “Inspection of Public Records Act”.

As part of its responsibilities, the Records Management Bureau staff scans, bar-codes, and stores incoming legal documentation in a manner that assures both prompt and efficient public access and complete and thorough archived records.
