The mission of the Managed Health Care Bureau is to inform and assist consumers, providers, and managed health care plans in the State of New Mexico. In order to meet this goal, the Managed Health Care Bureau has created an outreach program that offers information about our Bureau and the assistance we provide.
This outreach program travels around the State of New Mexico and offers a presentation to groups enrolled in HMO’s. The presentation is designed to educate consumers, providers, and insurers regarding the requirements of the Patient Protection Act, Insurance Code, and the Managed Health Care Rule.
