Commissioner Lyons has been successful in many local and national lobbying efforts relative to various public oriented pieces of legislation, such as work on election laws and other public needs. I have been able to provide land for construction of schools, thereby allowing them to leverage cash funding for building (School for the Blind, Gallup-McKinley, etc.). Donated used refurbished computers to various public schools throughout the state.
My primary commitment is to family, my wife of 26 years, Sandy, and children Amy, Kimberly and Daniel. I have a lifelong commitment to the citizens and children of the State of New Mexico and will always do the very best that I can to improve the lives and well-being of all of my fellow New Mexicans.
