Jefferson Byrd is a Christian, husband and a father. He grew up on his family's ranch and graduated from Mosquero High School. He then obtained a degree in Agricultural Engineering from New Mexico State University.


While atte82nding NMSU, he met his future wife Suzanne. He and Suzanne now have two boys, Noah, who is 15; and Zackery, who is 14. Suzanne is a high school math teacher at Logan Public Schools and a registered Professional Civil Engineer. Their boys also attend school in Logan where they participate in numerous extra-curricular activities.


Jeff worked as a practicing environmental engineer for a number of years with a consulting company and then directly with Navajo Refining until 2008. Jeff has worked on the largest land based drilling rig with a completed depth of nearly 28,000 feet; and on a Geoprobe rig installing micro-monitoring wells at a depth of 18 to 20 feet as a geologist.


Jeff has completed site delineation plans of numerous industrial sites from New York to California. He has also installed and completed site remediation systems at various sites around Texas, Tennessee, and Oklahoma to name a few.


Now Jeff and Suzanne are owners of 3 successful businesses of their own. Jeff is a rancher, where he raises commercial beef, along with the help of his mom. He is also a wind-miller working on his own and neighboring ranchers’ wells. Suzanne has an engineering company that is growing across the nation.
